Each year, the UF Engineering Ambassadors honors a professor in the College of Engineering who has dedicated their career toward the advancement of undergraduate engineering, education, and mentorship by giving them a platform to speak about a topic they are passionate about. In November of 2018, Dr. Edward Phelps from the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering discussed how life’s unexpected twists and turns have led him to be the engineer he is today.
